Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity mainly against gram-positive as well as some gram-negative bacteria.
Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Mycoplasma spp, Rickettsia spp. and Chlamydia spp.
When combined, tylosin and doxycycline work synergistically.
Colistin is a polymyxin antibiotic with bactericidal activity against certain gram-negative bacteria, including Salmonella spp. and E.coli.
Absorption of colistin sulphate after oral administration is minimal and it is therefore only active in the gastrointestinal tract. In addition to the direct antibacterial activity, colistin also exhibits potent anti-endotoxin activity.
For the treatment and prevention of disorders in poultry caused by microorganisms susceptible to tylosin, doxycycline and /or colistin, such as complicated C.R.D. (Chronic Respiratory Disease) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, infectious coryza caused by Haemophilus paragallinarum, fowl cholera caused by Pasteurella multocida, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, ulcerative enteritis caused by Clostridium Colinum and non-specific bacterial enteritis.

For oral administration in drinking water. Therapeutic dosage in poultry: 1 sachet per 100 litres of water (equivalent to 1 g per litre of water), continuously for 3-7 days depending on indication and response. Prophylactic dosage in poultry: 1 sachet per 200 litres of water (equivalent to 0.5 g per litre of water), continuously.
Do not eat, drink or smoke while preparing the diluted formulation or while animals are being treated. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Wash hands and exposed skin after use. The intake of medicated water depends on the clinical condition of the animals. In order to obtain the correct dosage, the concentration of this product has to be adjusted accordingly.
